Billy and I had a weekend long date. It was wonderful, we really enjoyed ourselves. We braved the Shrimp Festival in Fernandina on Saturday. We woke up at 7AM to beat the crowd and it was nice to shop & enjoy the gorgeous day. The shrimp was so yummy and we were able to visit with Pop as well, he met us there. By the time we left it was insane, I'm so glad we woke up extra early to beat the madness! We also went to the beach for a little bit and I met a man who caught a shark. He let me "pet" the shark before he tossed him back in the ocean. That was kind of cool. Mom, Mrs. Wendy & Kristen were there for the weekend enjoying a girls getaway so we were able to see them for a little bit too. By the evening we were ready for more so we decided to head towards St. Augustine. We had so much fun! I'm very blessed and so thankful to have a husband who is sweet, hilarious & my BEST friend!
